Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Same Sex Wedding Celebration Ceremonies

I will work closely with you to create a ceremony which is perfect for you in every way, reflecting your outlook and your relationship, and expressing just what this commitment means to you. It is your ceremony and will be written with you and your hopes, dreams and beliefs in mind.

Your vows will be at the heart of your ceremony. You may wish to write them, read them aloud or learn them by heart. You may prefer to express your feelings in silence, with gifts or you may want to speak spontaneously in your ceremony.

It is important that everyone feels welcome and included. I can design your ceremony to make sure your friends and family feel actively involved in supporting you on the day, by creating special roles for them. They can do a reading, poem, song or play you some music. Elements from any other traditions and cultures can be used.

Your ceremony can take place anywhere; in gardens, marquees, in the woods, on a boat, on a hill or on a beach; so think of the places that have real meaning for you when considering your setting.

If you’ve married abroad, you may want to have a ceremony with family and friends who were unable to be with your special day.

You may have visited Cornwall and feel it is the place for you to have your ceremony. If this is the case, we can conduct our interviews through skype and facetime to create your perfect ceremony.

You may want to exchange rings. Traditionally wearing a ring means you have chosen to be bound to one another. They represent the love you offer and the coming together of two souls who intend to spend the rest of their lives together, whatever the future may bring. They mean you will stand together through thick and thin, through the good times and the bad. A ring is a circle without end, as is your love for each other. If you are exchanging rings, you may want them blessed either beforehand, or during the ceremony.
