Wedding Celebration Ceremonies

I will work closely with you to create a ceremony which is perfect for you in every way, reflecting your relationship and which expresses what this commitment to each other means to you.

Your vows will be at the heart of your ceremony. You may like to read them aloud, learn them by heart or speak spontaneously in your ceremony. I can support you in the writing of your vows if you get a bit stuck.

It is important that everyone feels welcome and included. I can design your ceremony to make sure your friends and family feel actively involved in supporting you on the day, by creating special roles for them. They can do a reading, poem, song or play you some music. Elements from any other traditions and cultures can be used.

Your ceremony can take place anywhere; in gardens, marquees, in the woods, on a boat, on a hill or on a beach; so think of the places that have real meaning for you when considering your setting.

If you’ve married abroad, you may want to have a ceremony with family and friends who were unable to be with your special day.

You may have visited Cornwall and feel it is the place for you to have your ceremony. If this is the case, we can conduct our interviews via video calls to create your perfect ceremony.

You may want to exchange rings.

A ring is a circle without end, as is your love for each other. Wearing a ring means you have chosen to be bound to one another.

If you are exchanging rings, you may want them blessed either beforehand, or during the ceremony.
